The ABC President’s Award recognizes individuals and/or corporations who have done something unique or extraordinary for the blood community.
EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE ON BEHALF OF MEMBERS

Houchin Blood Bank CEO, Greg Gallion and Siouxland Community Blood Bank CEO Janette Twait are this year’s recipients of the President’s Award for Extraordinary Service on Behalf Members. Thanks to their efforts in securing federal excise tax exemptions for community blood centers, ABC members will save thousands of dollars in tax costs associated with mobile drives and tele-recruitment.
