Houchin Blood Bank hosted a “Moment for Mom” Mother’s Day Event on Friday, May 11th from 9:00am to 6:00pm at our 5901 Truxtun and 2600 "G" Street locations and Saturday, May 12th  from 9:00am to 3:00 pm at our Truxtun location. 

Attendees donated blood in Honor or in Memory of your Special Mom and received a “Meal for Mom” provided by Tahoe Joes (a steak dinner coupon) and a “Carnation” provided by Costco to take to your special “Mom” acknowledging your donation in her honor!    Your mother gave you life…Now is your chance to “give life” to someone else in her honor! Donate Blood. . . Do it for Mom!
