Armed Forces Day - Military Blood Drive

"ARMED FORCES DAY - MILITARY BLOOD DRIVE"

 

Houchin Blood Bank hosted an “Armed Forces Day - Military Blood Drive” on Saturday, May 19th at our 5901 Truxtun location from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m.  

 

Family and Friends of “All Branches” of the Armed Forces were invited to Donate Blood and Save Lives in Honor and in Memory of the Men and Women of our U.S. Military!   Donors enjoyed patriotic music and buglers opening the event with the National Anthem and both the City and County Fire Department's display of the Grand American Flag.   Sponsors included:  Lunch provided by Brookside Deli, Cake and Cookies by Costco, Ice Cream bars by Dreyer's, Soda's by McMillin Homes, Bottled Water by Pepsi, and Carnie's Kettle Corn!   Donors came out to support our troops both past and present.
